Description

The VIA Lab's VP202 (Dual Ports) / VP203 (Single Port) are USB smart charging controllers. It provides the electrical protocol handshake on D+/D- to support USB 2.0 Battery Charging Specification (BC 1.2) and Chinese Telecommunication Industrial Standard YD/T 1591-2009 battery charging schemes and support Divider 2.4A mode and DCP 1.2V mode to complaint with most of Apple® and Samsung devices. The VIA Lab's VP202 / VP230 also integrates an auto-detect feature that supports both DCP schemes for USB 2.0 BC 1.2 and the Divider 2.4A mode and DCP 1.2V mode without the need from outside user interaction.
